About Us

As a dynamic church proclaiming the Word of God, we purpose to make disciples of Christ by exalting God, (Psalms 95:6-7; 96:8-9). At LANDMARK BAPTIST CHURCH it is our purpose to be a worshiping church, exalting God as our number one priority. It is our purpose for which we were created, and our purpose for eternity. Both for personal and for corporate worship, we desire to create a warm dynamic worship of God.

Our second purpose is to be an evangelistic church trying to win the world for Christ and making disciples for Christ (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8). As the salt and light of this world, it is our desire as Christians, as member of LANDMARK BAPTIST CHURCH to let others know about Jesus Christ and to show His love toward them. It is our purpose to lead the lost to a saving knowledge of Christ.

Our third purpose is to baptize all those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour (Matthew 28:19-20) and that upon such baptism that the candidate will be received into the membership of this church (Acts 2:41; I Corinthians 12:13).

Our fourth purpose is to equip Christians to do the work of the ministry. LANDMARK BAPTIST CHURCH essentially is a training place to equip Christians to carry out their own ministries. It is not a place to watch professionals perform (i.e., watch them carry out the church program), but every member is a minister using his own gifts for God.

Another purpose of LANDMARK BAPTIST CHURCH is to encourage Christians toward spiritual maturity, (Romans 12:1-2; Hebrews 10:25). LANDMARK BAPTIST CHURCH is in the business of building lives.
